Being able to communicate well with guests is key for all involved in the tourism sector. Season Bridge connects people who want to improve their language skills with those able to give lessons or conversation sessions.
CATERING
Mongolia isn't known as a destination with fine dining! Whether you are already a chef or desire to develop skills to add to your skillset, Season Bridge will set out to match you with learning new skills that will make you more versatile.
HOUSE KEEPING
Season Bridge is looking for settings for Mongolians employed in House Keeping to be able to experience hospitality in a hotel abroad. Applicants for 2027 should check they have a passport in date and get in touch to discuss options.
GUIDING SKILLS
Season Bridge sponsors a winter training programme for guides. Get in touch to apply or to offer your skills as one of the tutors.
MICRO ENTERPRISES
GOT AN IDEA?
Perhaps you are itching to set up a income generating "side hustle", but you need some funds to purchase initial materials or someone to problem solve with you. Season Bridge can match you with a mentor to brainstorm with and perhaps another to help you with your budgeting. When your proposal is ready, you can present it to Season Bridge who can match you with collaborators and perhaps some seed funding.
CREATING & MAKING
Season Bridge will support rural and urban individuals and groups who have the skills and interest in making items that can be sold to tourists during the high season such as deels, jackets, bags, rugs etc. Season Bridge will help with sourcing materials and securing sales.

THE PROBLEM
Tourism is a very seasonal sector. Mongolia receives most visitors in just three months (June, July and August).
VISION
A resilient and skilled seasonal tourism workforce with year-round economic opportunities, dignity, and career growth.
MISSION
SEASON BRIDGE supports seasonal tourism workers through small grants that enable participation in training, internships, and income-generating projects during the low season. We aim to co-create pathways to long-term financial stability and professional development.
PATHWAY OF CHANGE
- Access training and upskilling opportunities in relevant areas (e.g., hospitality, digital marketing, language skills, entrepreneurship).
- Engage in internships or job placements with local businesses, NGOs, or institutions during the off-season.
- Receive support for launching micro-projects or short-term self-employment activities (e.g., local crafts, home-based services).
- Mentoring sessions that build confidence, networks, and skills that improve employability and income year-round.
This will lead to improved financial stability, increased skills, and expanded livelihood options, reducing vulnerability and increasing career mobility for seasonal workers.
